.Holey Soles…Great lightweight, casual  plastic shoe for around camp, gardening, after removing waders etc.  Like CROCS, and Waldies but much quicker delivery on orders etc. and they fit most folks better….a neat treat for the feet….Holey Soles…only $30.  Special orders are easy….

Royal Wulff Fly Lines… excellent lines and everyone that owns one or more is quite pleased.  The name “Triangle Taper” confuses quite a few folks…the lines are round just like other fly lines.   “Tri Taper” refers to the looonngg taper …longer than other lines.   The front taper on a standard weight forward or double taper line is about 6 or 7 feet long.  A Wulff line may have a front taper ranging from 27 to 40 feet… providing an efficient transfer of power since a heavier taper is constantly turning over a lighter taper.  The Bass lines do a really nice job throwing bigger “bugs” and roll casting. We have these on special at 30% off for newsletter readers.   We also have some of last year’s floating fly lines without the “j3” coating  at 40% off… a great time to add another premium fly line…at a bargain price.

Kid’s Backpacks...not the bookbags, but the packs for overnight hikes can be challenging to get the right fit.  Fortunately Kelty makes several models specifically designed for kids, even as young as 7 or 8.   With the correct fitting pack, kids do a good job backpacking with their parents and can carry their share.   Older kids, such as those joining Boy Scouts still require the proper fit.  Fortunately, for that age bracket, there are several packs to choose from…and these models grow with the Scout….Proper fit is the key and you can’t determine that from a chart…the pack has to be tried on and fitted…
