Experiencing Technical Difficulties…well, that’s putting it mildly…but our computer is back up and running…we think.  Another newsletter will follow closely behind this one…

New Bi-focal Sunglasses…The have been very well received…a quality polarized lens with a small 2x-2.5x magnifying lens that fisherman really love…by Guideline.  Prices range from $69-$89.

Costa Del Mar Sunglasses…These are top-notch, premium sunglasses that you will really enjoy….you won’t find any that are better.    You really have to try them…once you do, you won’t want to go back to cheap sunglasses.  Eyes and the ability to see well are critical factors with fishermen on open water and wading a trout stream.  The models we carry range from $99-150…and we have them on sale at 25% off!

Carolina Fly Fishing Club…This Federation of Fly Fishers club has really hit it’s stride with excellent membership, programs and outings.  There is a wealth of knowledge among it’s members and participating is a great way to really broaden your knowledge of fly fishing.  Check out their web site at carolinaflyfishingclub.com for more details, or contact us.

Plans for Summer Fishing…Don’t let low water, drought or heat keep you off the water!  Although trout fishing may slow down because of stocking reduction, catch and keep regulations etc.  the smallmouth bass fishing really picks up.   Last year at the worst of the drought and during the heat of the summer, the smallmouth bass fishing was “hot.”  And regardless of the what you believed because of news reports, there was always enough water in sections of the New River  to float in a canoe or with a guide in a 3-person raft.

Sales for Spring…Items are on sale throughout the store: fly rods, clothing, sleeping bags, boots and more.  A complete list will be in our next newsletter.
