Tick Season is Here…There are 2 products that make life safer.  One is Permanone Spray that you apply to your clothing…effective and lasts for up to 2 weeks…wards off other bugs as well.  You can buy clothes that are pretreated…but that treatment wears off.  With Permanone Spray, you can treat the clothes you already own…and retreat…and retreat etc. AND  the Tick Remover…the safest way to remove a tick that is embedded.

Grill Things Here’s one that makes you wonder why you didn’t think of it… a 2-prong stainless grilling tool for hot dogs and marshmallows….that “screws” on to almost any stick.  Tired of losing your dog to the fire…or only burning on one side.  The Grill Things solve that and allow you to grill like a seasoned outdoor professional…2 per box for $5.50

Tilleys Hats…world famous…Probably no other hat is known around the world like the Tilleys…great hats for sun and rain protection…and they come with an insurance policy!

These are excellent and are very popular year round but especially for summer sun protection….Out best seller is the T-3 but we have a few other styles…

Boogle Bugs…popping bug season is here for you topwater fishermen…especially for panfish and Smallmouth Bass on the New River.  One of the best…actually the best you can buy are Boogle Bugs.  High quality equals durability…fish, after fish, after fish.   We have them in stock in four top colors.

Bass Flies…We’ve added a number of Bass Flies to our expanded inventory….  These include custom tied Deer Hair Bugs, Foam Sliders,  and “Magnum” Buggers and crayfish patterns…and a variety of Clouser Minnow patterns.  .  If you are thinking about Bass fishing, especially Smallmouth Bass, all these are proven patterns that work in local waters.

Canoe Power… When solo paddling, you should be positioned as near to the center of the canoe as possible….that usually means adding a center seat or one just aft of center…and then becoming proficient in the “c-stroke.”  However, a long double-bladed paddle can work wonders when by yourself.   You’ll find you can propel and maneuver a canoe with amazing speed and efficiency.  Another option is rowing a canoe.  Yep, you can add a rowing attachment or even just oarlocks to your canoe and use your paddles as oars.  This is great for fishermen…either paddling solo or with a fisherman in the bow….but does require learning some basic rowing skills for maximum benefit. .
