Fly Fishing Classes

We offer a variety of classes at different times during the year:  Intro to Fly Fishing  to Intermediate Casting,  Intermediate Tips and Technique  and classes on Saltwater Fly Fishing. Individual Casting lessons to improve skills, tighten loops, work on shooting line and single and double hauls, tips for saltwater and distance casting,  etc. are $20 per hour.   Suggested session length is 1-2 hours. 

 On-Stream Lessons…scheduled on Sundays and Mondays typically, 1.5 -2 hours from Statesville.   2 hours…$60    4 hours…$100  Equipment provided.  We encourage taking the Intro class first so that stream time can concentrate on learning various techniques with  dry flies, streamers, nymphs etc.  . 

          We’ll be happy to set up special classes for 2-4 individuals or families.

We almost always have some items on sale because of the change in seasons or closing out certain inventory, and we almost always have a half price rack with some great bargains.

New products and replenishment of inventory goes on year round.   Many of our restocking orders are placed 6-8 months in advance for delivery at certain times of the year.  In many cases a new items is on one of those “pre-season” orders.
